meet dan
Dan is a veteran of both the U.S. Air Force and Army. He deployed to Iraq in 2004 through 2005 and left the Army National Guard in 2012. In 2018, he started practicing yoga at Yoga Core and More as a way to get back in shape and increase flexibility. It did not take long for him to see the physical changes he was looking for in the physical practice of yoga, but he also began to notice shifts mentally and emotionally. Dan attributes these changes to the amazing connection with the Moonbird/Yoga Core and More community, a focus on the power of breath, and a connection between the mind and body. In January 2020, Dan completed his 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga Core and More (now Moonbird Yoga).
Dan offers a vinyasa-based class that is challenging and rewarding for all levels. His classes focus on strength, proper alignment and breathing. Dan is excited to share his passion for yoga and all of the benefits of a yoga practice with others. Dan strives for his students to leave class feeling empowered, challenged, and excited for whatever they encounter in their lives.
